We were delighted to advise MM Band Services, the Hull-based transport specialist behind tours for artists including the Foo Fighters, Shakira, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers, on the sale of the business to Netherlands-based Pieter Smit Group, one of Europe’s leading entertainment logistics companies.

The deal marks a significant milestone for MM Band Services, which has built an international reputation for providing premium transport services to the live entertainment industry across the UK and Europe. The acquisition also strengthens Pieter Smit’s presence in the UK, creating a strategic British hub that enables the group to serve touring productions navigating the complexities of post-Brexit travel between the UK and mainland Europe more effectively.

MM Band Services will continue to operate under its established brand, with managing director Mike Moulds remaining in place alongside the existing team.
