Andrew Jackson Solicitors has advised Barnsley-based Commercial Glass Specialists Limited on its successful acquisition of the business and assets of Dual Seal Glass Limited, which has a strong heritage of manufacturing high-performance insulated glass panels for the construction sector.

Completed through a pre-pack administration process, the acquisition of the Huddersfield-based business secures its future, preserves around 90 jobs, and provides a platform for further investment and growth.

It follows a period of financial challenge for Dual Seal Glass, which had been facing issues including historic product liability claims, bad debts, rising costs and supply chain pressures.

Azher Quyoom, a partner in the restructuring team at Andrew Jackson Solicitors, led the transaction with support from colleagues Grace Moreton and Raheel Quyoom.
