We were delighted to advise our client, Fastnet Fish Holdings, a subsidiary company of Andrew Marr International, on its acquisition of Seafish U.K. Limited, a long-established Hull-based manufacturer of frozen seafood products and bespoke sauce solutions.

The acquisition, which has strengthened the group’s position as one of the UK’s leading seafood businesses, brings together two businesses with deep roots in the Humber region. It complements Fastnet’s existing sourcing, distribution and seafood supply operations, expanding the group’s manufacturing capabilities and enhancing its ability to serve customers across the retail and foodservice sectors.

Established in 1975, Seafish is a supplier to major retailers and has established a strong reputation for quality, strong service and innovation. It will continue as a stand-alone business under its existing name.

Fastnet’s legal advice for the acquisition was led by Andrew Jackson Solicitors’ corporate partner Philip Ashworth, who was supported by a team including partners Fiona Phillips (tax), Gillian Markland (employment), and Kirsty Barsby (property).
