Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners results reflect client-focused service
The firm is delighted to have been recognised by the Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners, two of the leading industry guides to the UK’s top law firms. The rankings, which have been published in the 2019 edition of Chambers’ High Net Worth Guide and the 2020 edition of the legal 500, are based on independent research including client feedback. We are sincerely grateful to those clients and professional contacts who took the time to provide feedback to the research team.
In Legal 500’s latest guide, published 26 September, the team has been highly recommended across several practice areas and 34 lawyers have been recommended – six of whom are recognised as ‘leading individuals’ in their field. We were also delighted to secure ‘top tier’ ranking across six practice areas, with recognition across a further nine and continued national recognition for shipping work in the London law firm section.
In the guide, the firm is quoted as being “extremely efficient and flexible in its approach to cases,” whilst another source notes that it “provides an all-round fantastic service for its clients. It has both great local knowledge but also a professional outlook comparable to that of firms in London or other major cities”.
In Chambers’ annual High Net Worth guide, our private client team has retained its top tier ranking in York, Hull and surrounds, with private client partner, Kevin Webster, also being recognised for his work.
Mark Pearson-Kendall, managing partner, said: “Once again, we are absolutely delighted with the feedback we have received in the latest Legal 500 and Chambers and Partners guides. The rankings and comments we receive are always so important to the team because they consider our clients’ experience of the firm. To receive recognition across several practice areas, along with several lawyer recommendations, is a fantastic endorsement.”
