Profile

Ben is a Solicitor in our Contentious Probate Team.

Ben has extensive experience in Contentious Probate and also in Non-Contentious Probate matters including the preparation of Wills, Codicils and the administration of estates.

He began his career in 2013 and has gathered experience in dealing with both mainstream contentious probate matters and also particularly niche areas of probate practice, such as applications under the Forfeiture Act 1982, Fiat Copy Wills, International Probate including Re-Seal applications and Affidavits of Foreign Law. He has also acted for registered charities as executors/beneficiaries, and has regularly dealt with matters requiring the assistance of genealogists in complicated intestacy cases.

Ben was one of the first in our region to be accepted onto the Law Society’s Solicitor Apprentice programme in 2018.   He has since graduated from the University of Law with an LL.B and is working towards full qualification as a Solicitor. He is also the current President of the Hull and East Yorkshire Junior Lawyers Division.
