We are pleased to announce that our corporate team has facilitated a range of transactions to end the financial year and has made a positive start to the first quarter of the new financial year, despite the unique challenges created by the pandemic.

Recent transactions include advising Burton Roofing, the UK subsidiary of Cupa Group, on its acquisition of Rinus Roofing Supplies, strengthening Burton Roofing’s position as one of the largest independent specialist distributors of roofing materials in the UK; assisting Arcus on its acquisition by ERM, one of the world’s largest sustainability consultancies, which included a significant cross-border aspect; and, advising CambridgeHOK, specialists in the creation of automated vertical farming centres and commercial glasshouses, on its sale to current management team members Patrick Harte and Louis Bradley, who join major new shareholders, Dutch-based global consortium Atrium Agri, in leading the business in its future growth.

Our corporate team was also delighted to advise the sole shareholder of DAM Structures, Phil Cook, on the sale of 100% of the share capital of the company, an innovative steel fabrication company, to market leading structural steel group, Severfield Plc.

The team also advised the shareholders of Weldtite, the UK’s leading cycle maintenance manufacturer, on their sale to incumbent managing director Paul Davis, via a management buyout. This year sees Weldtite become a new technical partner to Team DSM, a professional German cycling team at UCI World Team level.
