Rebecca joined the firm in 2004 and is a qualified solicitor.
Rebecca acts for many of the UK high street banks in respect of marine finance matters. She is involved in ship sale and purchase, ship building and the financing of such transactions. She has extensive experience working with both the UK ship registry and many other registries around the globe. She has particular experience in respect of commercial fishing vessels, offshore energy crew transfer vessels, tugs, and workboats.
Since qualifying as a solicitor Rebecca has been exercising her rights of audience in the Magistrates’ Court. She both defends and prosecutes fisheries offences brought by Inshore Fisheries and Conservation Authorities, the Marine Management Organisation, the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, and the Environment Agency.
