The Shipping and Transport team has recently announced the appointment of a new solicitor, Alex Arnell. Alex brings with her a broad experience of regulatory matters and will support the department’s partner, Andrew Oliver, with marine regulatory matters, including fisheries and pollution prosecutions, as well as health and safety investigations, prosecutions and official inquiries both ashore and at sea.

Alex Arnell will also assist partner Hugh Smith with product liability and food related regulatory cases. At the same time, Alex will be expanding the firm’s regulatory offering given her considerable experience in the educational and care sectors.
