James is a partner in our commercial and IP team specialising in commercial contracts and data protection. James works with clients to provide and advise on tailored contractual solutions to meet their needs, including supply contracts, outsourcing contracts, IP licensing agreements and IT contracts.
From a data protection perspective, James advises clients on a wide range of compliance matters including data processing and data sharing projects, policy documentation and responses to subject access requests. James also advises on freedom of information law issues.
James has particular expertise and experience in advising education sector clients on their funding agreements and related compliance, drafting contracts for education collaboration arrangements, and negotiating contracts with other providers, funders and commercial organisations.
