Sarah is an experienced family lawyer based predominantly in our York office. She has been practicing in this area of law for over 15 years and has a broad range of experience in dealing with divorce, separation and complex financial applications and private children applications. She has advised clients in relation to pre and post nuptial agreements, separation agreements, cohabitation disputes, financial matters relating specifically to children, a wide variety of issues arising in disputes involving children including experience in child abduction and removal from the jurisdiction cases.

Sarah is often approached to provide commentary on breaking news items in family law, by both local and national media outlets.

Sarah fully appreciates the very complex, personal and sensitive issues that may necessitate an instruction to a family lawyer. She ensures clients are treated with the utmost understanding and compassion, whilst at the same time ensuring applications are pursued on their behalf in a rigorous and robust manner to achieve the best outcome for the client.
