In January 2018, the family department of Andrew Jackson Solicitors LLP welcomed Associate and Mediator Sally-Anne Neal back to the team after she spent 4 months on sabbatical in Nicaragua, volunteering as a project manager with Raleigh International, a charity which works on sustainable development in developing countries and facilitates self development in young volunteers.

Sally-Anne Neal said, “It was a once in a lifetime experience. I lived in a remote community where we were laying pipes to bring water to the village, and also trekked for 3 weeks covering 250 kilometres, with a group of young people of different nationalities, carrying our tents and food. I have many good memories but the experience of climbing a smoking volcano at dawn and the jubilation of the group upon completing the trek will be something I will never forget.”
