By Car:
Coming from the North (Teesside)
Take the A19 (York) for approximately 17.5 miles. In Shipton by Beninbrough turn left onto East Lane after the Church of the Holy Evangelist. East Lane has a sharp right turn and then becomes Corban Lane, continue for approx 2 miles. Turn right on to Sutton Road and continue on to Wiggington Road B1363 for 1.5 miles. At the roundabout take the first exit on to the A1237. At the roundabout take the third exit on to Haxby Road. At the roundabout take the first exit on to Hawthorn Terrace. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit and stay on Hawthorn Terrace, Hawthorn Terrace turns slightly left and becomes Haxby Rd. At the roundabout, take the 1st exit onto Haley’s Terrace. Turn right onto Huntington Rd. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit onto Foss Bank/A1036. Use the left lane to stay on Foss Bank A1036 and the office is on the left. Enter the car park from Foss Islands Road turning left after our office building. Please park in one of the spaces on the left hand side.
Coming from the West (Leeds & West Yorkshire)
Follow the York Road (A64) for approximately 18 miles, and take the A19 to York (Centre), turning left onto A19 towards York City Centre. Continue on the A19 which becomes Fulford Road. Turn right on to Cemetery Road A19 towards York City Centre, turn right on to Barbican Road/Paragon Street/Foss Islands Road A1036 for approximately half a mile and the office is on the right. Enter the car park from Foss Islands Road before our office building on the right. Please park in one of the spaces on the left hand side.
Coming from the South (Doncaster/Selby)
Take the A19 to York, turn right on to Cemetery Road A19. Turn right on to Barbican Road/Paragon Street/ Foss Islands Road A1036 for approx half a mile and the office is on the right. Enter the car park from Foss Islands Road before our office building. Please park in one of the spaces on the left hand side.
Coming from the East (Hull)
Head west on the A63 for 12 miles and exit at South Cave. At the roundabout take the second exit to join the A1034, stay on the A1034 for 7.6 miles. At the roundabout take the 1st exit onto the A1079, stay on the A1079 for 20.3 miles – you will go over 5 roundabouts in this time. The walls of the city of York are now visible in front of you, turn right on to Foss Islands Road (A1036). The office is on the right. Enter the car park from Foss Islands Road before our office building. Please park in one of the spaces on the left hand side.
By Rail:
York is on the main East Coast Line from London King’s Cross to Edinburgh. Fast trains leave from both north and south at frequent intervals. There is also a direct service across the Pennines between York, Leeds and Manchester Airport. The office is less than two miles from the railway station, approximately a 20 minute walk or 12 minute taxi journey. An online rail timetable is available to help you to plan your journey.
By Taxi:
A journey by taxi from the railway station to the office will take approximately 12 minutes. There is a taxi rank just outside the station.
By Bus:
You can reach York by coach from many destinations around the country. National Express buses stop at the railway station. More details are available from their online coach timetable. Bus numbers 6 and 9 depart from Rougier Street which is a 10 minute walk from the station. The scheduled journey time from here to Peasholme Green is 13-17 minutes and the office is a 3 minute walk from there.
